I spend wonderful and quite cheap weekend with Łukasz.

On Saturday weather was beautiful (the sun was shining) so we went for a short walk by the sea in Gdynia Orłowo. It’s really beautiful area.

After walk we went for shopping. In shops there were so many beautiful clothes and I couldn’t decided what to buy. All in all I bought two quite elegant shirts and a dress. Ania D. said that this dress is like for her mother, hehe. I have to admit that it is really simple and let’s say for good girls but I like such style.

Recently I spend a lot of money on books. I can say too many. But I cannot help myself for buying a book when I am in a bookstore. Last time I bought:
  • 'Something borrowed' written by Emily Griffin. Few months ago I read 'Something blue' also written by this author. This is really interesting let's say project cause this books show different point of view on the same situation. I have already finished reading this novels so if somebody is willing to borrow it don’t hesitate to ask.
  • 'Welcome to the World, Baby Girl!'- Fannie Flag. I bought this book encouraged by the review on the Internet. I hope it will be interesting.
  • 'The happines project'- Gretchen Rubin. It's some kind of self- help book.
  • 'Twilight'- Stephenie MeyerI bought this book written in English. As most of you know I am not a fun of since fiction and phantasy books. So you probably ask yourself  the question why the hell I spend money and bought  this book...? The answer is simple: it has interesting binding (pages are red) and I want to improve my English.
  • 'Nadzieja czeka na słowo. Rekolekcje'- ks. Józef Tischer.

In Empik when you bought a book you got another  one for free: 'Nie dla mięczaków' written by Monika Szweia. I wonder what this book is about.

On Saturday evening we enjoyed ourselves lying on a coach and watching movie. That time we saw ‘Wolfman’. I chose this movie because of the cast: Anthony Hopkins, Benicio Del Toro and Emiy Blunt. But one more time I was disappointed with the plot.

On Saturday we went to spend afternoon and evening in Gdańsk. There were campaign called ‘Gdańsk for the half price’. It means most meals in restaurants were cheaper- for the half price. We took part in this campaign last year but we weren’t very satisfied. There were long queues to most places so we had to wait for a table for a long time. I don’t know why we decided to take part in this campaign one more time. But I don’t regret it for sure!

We took train to Gdańsk city centre. We didn’t want to travel by car because we wanted to drink some alcohol. I think you know what I mean ;)

When we got to Gdańsk we headed first steps to Cafe Bar Mon Balzac. I really badly wanted to try meat fondue so we ordered it. I have to admit I wasn’t disappointed. The waitress brought us some kind of kettle full of hot oil. On a plate she served 3 kind of raw meats, vegetables, bread and various sauces. We had to stick meat on some kind of fork and dip it in the hot oil, where they were cooked. It was fun to eat it. When waitress brought us meal I have to admit I thought it was small portion but I was wrong. We have barley eaten ordered meal. We were full. And for this pleasure we paid only 60 PLN (including litres of bear ;) ). I think it was really good price.

During this action I wanted to try meals and drinks which I haven’t try in my life yet. So in a cafe I ordered hot coconut chocolate with chilli. At the beginning I haven’t stir it. I tried it and I thought it will burn my mouth. It was soooooo spicy. I have almost drunk all Łukasz beer, heh ;) Because of that Łukas was  angry a little ;) In this place for dessert, hot chocolate and beer we paid only 15,50 PLN.

After dinner and dessert we went for a walk in Gdańsk Old Town. It is really beautiful area full of breathtaking monuments. Most people don’t appreciate places where they live. They just complain about their life and delight about another cities and countries. We don’t belong to this group of people, we really enjoy living in our country.

As the prices were so low we decided to go to one more restaurant. Łukasz ordered camembert cheese with cranberry. It was really nice served. I wasn’t hungry at all so I ordered only drink- Miodula- honey based vodka. Yummy, it was delicious!

After the meal we went to the cinema. I know that recently I complained that I am very disappointed with most movies but this time I was very satisfied with our choice. We decided to see ‘Limitless’. It is film about men taking drugs which makes him maximally smart, using 100% of his brain. If you have free evening go to the cinema to see this movie. I think you won’t regret that .

Today in the afternoon I went for an English lesson. I take conversation lessons with English man- Peter from London. I really enjoy attending his classes. When I came back home I am always full of positive energy and willingness to study. He has apartment on Sopot main street- Bohaterów Monte Casino. I love this street. It’s full of interesting people every time of day.
